Top 5 Mistakes Average People Make. And How To Avoid Them.

First of all, you have to understand that you have a choice, you can choose every moment of the day what you’re going to do.

It’s your life, it’s your story and it’s your choice!

Ever thought about where and who you’d be if only you’d done something differently, gone somewhere else, chosen something or someone else?Probably so, if you’re like most. But now imagine this, you still have the choice where you can go to and what you can still become. Think about all the choices you have left.

It’s not because you made a stupid decision years ago that you can’t do something better right now. One of the best tips I can give you is “never regret anything”. Shit happens anyway, it’s too late to change that. What you can change is how your future looks, stop procrastinating and just start with something.

If you don’t “build” something you’re as good as dead.

What do I mean by build? I mean you should work towards something. Having a goal to reach, will motivate you more than you can imagine now. That will be the reason you wake up every morning to make something out of your life instead of sleeping in.

I don’t believe in destiny, I believe you can create your own life and so should YOU. Destiny is not a matter of chance, it’s a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved. If you hate your 9-5 job then search for something else. I know this sounds easy but if you start with small steps now maybe you’ll be financially independent next year while doing the things you love.

Heck I’m not even going to say you have to follow your passion, if you can find something you like doing as a job then thats more than most people will ever have. Some time ago, I read about the top 5 regrets of dying people published in The Guardian. It hit me that I never want to leave our world like that, wishing I spent my life differently.

Here you have the list:

  1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
  2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.
  3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings
  4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends
  5. I wish that I had let myself be happier

Do you want to go out while saying on of these 5 lines? I guess not. NOW is the time to do something about it.

Making a change will take time and effort but it stays with you for a lifetime. Let yourself aspire for higher, let yourself be the better man and let yourself rise above the level of others.

It’s fear that’s holding you back, it’s because of fear that you aren’t chasing your dreams. That fear will either create you or destroy you. I love fear, because behind fear is the person you want to be. Fear is self imposed, this means that it doesn’t exist. You create it and you can destroy it.

If you face your fears, you’ll realize it’s not that big and you’ll be wondering why you spend al that time running from it. If you overcome your fear your going to wonder what else there is, what else are you capable of, what else can you overcome.

The person that tried and failed is 10 times more of a man then the person that says “what if…”
